Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 16: Retired Officers Forum (ROF) has appealed the government to release 11 percent DA to the employees.
General Secretary of the Forum, SC Rekhi requested the LG to make immediate arrangements for the sanction and release of long awaited and demanded 11 % D A increase in favour of the Pensioners Community as already the sanction is much delayed and even at this stage also will provide a little relief to the Pensioners Community who are Reeling under steep rise in the Prices of Petrol/Diesal, Edible oils and other requiste commodities.
The chairman also urged LG to please pay personal attention for the increase of Medical Allownce from Rs.300/-to Rs.2000/-PM as per the last more than a decade the Medical Allowance is Rs.300/-Per Month whereas Medical expenses have risen four times as such necessitates.
Further reiterating, many members pointed out that their names do not exist in the Survey list conducted by some agency during 2011,with the result they have been deprived of the benefits of PM AYUSHMAN YOJNA, as the process to register is so long that it takes2/3 months for completion of formalities. The Forum suggested that when the Prime Minister has sanctioned this benefit for whole of the population of J&K UT, a Nodal Officer (CMO/DY.CMO) be authorized to register the names and arrange the issue of golden cards for the persons who bring Aadhar Cards/Ration Cards/domicile or State Subject certificates to save the oldies from becoming sick of Covid.
