REASI, July 23: The programmes and activities for the Independence Day celebrations in Reasi will be held strictly in accordance to Covid Safety protocol such as maintaining social distancing, wearing of masks, proper sanitization, avoiding large congregations etc. This was decided in a meeting held to review the arrangements for the National event here under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Charandeep Singh. The meeting was informed that the main function will be held at Sports Stadium and similar functions would be held at all tehsil headquarters. The meeting was attended by ADDC Reasi, Jyoti Slathia; Additional S.P Surjeet Kumar, ACR Sanjay Badyal; ACD Anirudh Rai; PO ICDS Renu Kumari; A.K Sharma DYSP IRP; Sanjeev Kumar, DYSP STC Talwara; Xen PWD Janak Raj, Tehsildar Reasi, Munshi Ram, Dr Gulshan Kumar, DSWO besides all concerned officers were present. The arrangements for parking facility, Drinking water facility, security, Barricading, Decorations, seating arrangements, Media gallery, and implementation of Covid19 SOPs guidelines were discussed. The DC asked for ensuring foolproof security and maintaining cleanliness in and around the venue. He also directed for making health care arrangements at the venue. It was decided in the meeting that contingents of Police, RPF, CISF, NCC will take part in the March past whereas SSP will decide the Parade Commander. The Deputy Commissioner directed the PDD and PHE to ensure uninterrupted Power and water supply on the scheduled day, while the CMO was asked to deploy sufficient medical staff along with an ambulance. The Information Department was asked to make arrangements for the Public Address System and media coverage of the event. |
