DIET organises webinars on guidance, counselling

UDHAMPUR, July 23: Series of webinar/google meetings were organised by Guidance and counselling cell in connection with JK career portal. The programme was organized under the overall supervision of Principal DIET Sikander Lal. Around 80 participants (HOIs of HSS & HS) joined from four zones i.e. Kulwanta, Chenani, Ghordi and Dudu of the Udhampur district.
Chief Education Officer Udhampur Arvin Kumar Koul impressed upon all the participants to spread awareness regarding the JK Career portal among the maximum number of students so that they can be benefited in taking timely and appropriate decisions in choosing their career as per their aptitude and interest. Sikander Lal Principal DIET Kud expressed the hope that this portal would help in channelising the energy and talent of the students in the right direction. Ashok kumar Sr. lecturer DIET Kud DNO carried out the proceedings of the event. Sushma Devi HOD DIET Kud & I/C counseling cell, Meenakshi Lehra DCC shared the live demo on how to access the portal.
The whole exercise is being carried on under the guidance and direction of Director School Education Jammu Dr Ravi Shankar Sharma.
