Webinar on "Dogri Upanyas" organized

JAMMU, July 23: An online extension lecture on the topic 'Dogri Upanyas : Ik Aalochnatmak Adhyayan' organized by Department of Dogri for the students of Government College for Women, Udhampur under the patronship of Prof. Minu Mahajan, Principal, GCW Udhampur.
The event was well organized by Dr. Neeru Devi Anand HOD Dogri and Prof. Rekha sharma on Google Meet platform. The resource person for the occasion was Dr. Sunil Dutt Sharma, Asstt. Prof. of Govt. Degree College, Jindrah who has a vast experience in the field of Dogri and has also pen down few books covering dogri tradition and literature.
The extension lecture was initiated with the formal welcome address presented by Prof. Rekha Sharma,Asstt. Prof, Dogri Department, GCW Udhampur. The lecture was well perceived and appreciated by the participants as the resource person Dr. Sunil Sharma, critically discussed in detail the impact of upanyas in the development and preservation of Dogri literature at large.
The Principal applauded the efforts made by the team in successfully conducting the extension lecture in Dogri, which is one of the main languages of Jammu region and congratulated the team for organizing such a wonderful event which provides a deep insight into the Dogri literature to all the participants.
The event was concluded with formal vote of thanks by Dr. Neeru Devi Anand, HOD, Deptt of Dogri, GCW Udhampur.
