DC Kishtwar reviews status of PMJAY-SEHAT registration
103 CSCs functional in district; 90,000 individuals registered so far

KISHTWAR, July 23: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar Ashok Sharma today chaired a meeting of concerned officers to review the implementation of Government’s flagship Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) SEHAT scheme in the district. The meeting was informed that 103 CSCs are functional across the district wherein people register themselves for availing benefits under the scheme and that so far 90000 individuals have been registered in the district. In the meeting, the DC called for increasing the registration facilities to cover the rest of the beneficiaries. He directed CMO to launch a mass awareness campaign to create awareness among people for cent percent coverage under the scheme. He also directed for mobilizing field level workers including VLEs ASHA workers, VLWs etc to create mass awareness about the scheme. Furthermore VLEs were directed to station themselves at the ration depots on the fixed days of week to ensure that the left out beneficiaries are sensitised and enrolled in an effective manner. He also directed CSCs to set a per day target for each centre to ensure speedy registration and stressed to complete the process within one month.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Sham Lal; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Akhter Hussain Qazi; Chief Medical Officer, Dr R S Manhas besides District Coordinator CSC, Shagufta Basheer Malik and District Manager CSC Suman Kumar among others.
