Forest Deptt conducts plantation drive in various schools of Reasi

REASI, July 23: DFO Reasi along with Chief Education Officer Reasi conducted plantation drive in educational institutions of district Reasi under J&K Green Drive here today.
At GHSS (Girls) Reasi and PS Basti saplings of various plant species were planted by Forest officials and volunteers in presence of students and local community. On the occasion, DFO Reasi, Jyotsana assured for all support in further plantations in educational institutions beside She made a strong appeal to public for maximum plantation this monsoon across the district.
DFO also hailed the contributions of volunteers like Sanjeev Kumar Sharma Teacher for extending full support in making plantation drives the grand success at various locations Vijay Kumar Verma Range Forest Officer Reasi, Sugam Bral Block Forest Officer Reasi,Vipin Sharma, Principal GHSS Reasi, Bhupinder Singh Forest Guard actively took part in plantation drives.
Chief Education Officer Reasi, Mohd Aziz congratulated the entire team involved in carrying out plantation especially in educational institutions of the district. It is very effective collaboration of our teaching fraternity with officials of Forest Department which is enhancing the greenery and beautification of schools in addition of achieving maximum plantation target, added CEO Reasi.
