GCOE Jammu conducts online mock competitive examination series

JAMMU, July 27: The Placement Cell GCOE, Jammu conducted competitive exams based on Teacher Eligibility Test for the students of its institution. The objective of the program was to prepare the students for their competitive examinations that are meant for selection of teachers in different schools of state as well as central level.
Under this program the students will be given a series of a set of multiple choice questions (MCQ’S) papers, that will help them in preparing in different areas like current affairs, teaching aptitude, teacher training course, and in other areas.
The purpose of the series of Mock Examination is to give them practice for the actual TET exams that they will be facing after the completion of their Teacher Training Course. The test was conducted through Google forms. Around hundred students participated in this quiz competition.
The principal of the college, Dr. Kulvinder Kour, in her message, appreciated the efforts of the placement cell for conducting such programs. In the first Series, he top scorers were Charu Manhas and Sabya, and while Ridham Sharma, Sapna Devi, Shekha Padha and Anisha Devi got the second highest score. In the second MCQ’s Series Richa scored hundred percent while second best scorers were Shekha Padha and Anisha Devi. The program was devised by Prof Shalini Rana (Convener) Prof Shapia Shameem, Dr Mansi Sharma and Prof Rubina Yasmeen.
