| JMC initiates plantation drive in Ward No 27 | | |

JAMMU, July 27: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today started plantation drive in Ward No 27 Bakshi Nagar in presence of Councilor of the Ward, Charanjeet Kour Shingari under “Clean and Green Jammu”. The plantation drive was carried out at Netaji Subash Chandra Bose Park Maheshpura Chowk, PHE office Bakshi Nagar, Municipal Park Bakshi Nagar. Various medicinal, flower and ornamental plants were planted during the drive in the presence of JMC Officers . The basic idea of plantation drive is to restore and noticeably increase green cover in the city over next few years besides involving the citizens of Jammu in this “Clean & Green Jammu” initiative of the Jammu Municipal Corporation. Councilor Charanjeet Kour Shingari appeals to all the citizens of Jammu City to come forward and actively participate in the “Clean & Green Jammu” drive to make the drive a great success. |
