Col Mahan Singh takes stock of flood affected people’s problems

HIRANAGAR, July 27: District Development Council (DDC) Kathua Chairman, Col. Mahan Singh today visited border villages of Hiranagar and took stock of the problems being faced by the people due to flash floods in these areas.
During his interaction with the people in these border villages the DDC Chairman was apprised of the issues and problems in their respective areas by the villagers due to flash floods. They highlighted the issues of dilapidated roads and erratic power supply besides other issues.
Col Mahan Singh listened quite patiently to the grievances of the people and assured them of getting their problems addressed at the earliest by taking up the issues with the concerned department and officials.
Asserting that BJP stands committed to overall development of every area especially the remote and border areas, he said that he will continue to work for the people’s welfare 24X7 and ensure that the life of common man is made most comfortable in every nook and corner of these border villages.
Meanwhile, the DDC Chairman also conducted a meeting of the BJP workers and listened to their issues and problems. BJP District President Kathua, Gopal Mahajan and Former MLA Hiranagar Kuldeep Raj were also accompanying the DDC Chairman during his tour of the border villages.
