Early Times Report

JAMMU, July 27: Sham Lal Langar, Convenor Trade and Industries Cell, Bharatiya Janata Party Jammu and Kashmir urged the party workers to spread achievements of Modi government among the people as the Assembly polls will be held soon in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. In a statement issued here today, Langar said that the Assembly polls can be announced anytime and it is the time to gear up and garner support of the people which ultimately will enable the party to render services to make J&K a prosperous, progressive and a developed region. He said that abrogation of Article 370 is the biggest achievement of the party which was the long pending demand of nationalists in J&K. Langar directed the party workers to gear up for the coming elections and make the people aware about development initiatives that BJP brought to J&K include Ring Road Project, hydroelectric projects, IIT, IIM, Central University, AIIMS, tourism projects, etc. He said that the replica of the Tirumala Tirupati Shrine in Jammu will also boost the economy and tourism of Jammu and Kashmir. It is the time that BJP workers should reach out to people by making use of booth level interactions and tell the people the worth of the party which has brought so many revolutionary changes in the UT of J&K”, he said, adding that the booth level worker is the true soldier of the party and strengthening party is impossible without the dedication of this important constituent of the party. He urged the party cadre with its workers who are already working at the grassroots level to focus on highlighting the achievements of the Modi government and his Govt’s pro-people policies. “It is a result of BJP Government policies that J&K is today witnessing an unprecedented era of infrastructure development besides becoming one of the best performers in the ongoing battle against the Covid pandemic till date,” he added. Asserting that people are themselves the best judge of performance and feel the positive changes on ground brought during the incumbent dispensation, Langar said that yet the party cadre has to put in strong efforts in every nook and corner of J&K Union Territory to ensure that BJP comes out with fluttering colours not only in Jammu region but also in the Valley.
