Sikh Organizations appeal Union govt to revoke farm laws

Jammu, July 27: An emergency meeting of various Sikh organizations J&K held under the chairmanship of S. Mohinder Singh Chief Organizer Bhai Kanaya Nishkam Sewa Society J&K and Ex-member District Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee Jammu.
In the meeting it is appealed to the Prime Minister of India Narinder Modi Home Minister Amit Shah and Agriculture Minister Narinder Tomer to roll back the three draconian laws which are anti farmers. These three laws are the farmers produce trade and commerce act 2020. Farmers Agreement on price assurance and farm services Act 2020. The essential commodities Amendment act 2020.
More than 500 farmers have sacrificed their lives during the struggle, the Sikh organizations appealed the government of India to sanction Rs ten lakh ex-gratia to the next kin of the deceased farmers and give job to one member of the family
The Sikhs organizations appealed the government to roll back the three farm laws which will pave the way for billionaire owned corporate control over India's agri- food system and will have serious impacts on the price and procurement of farm produce.
The Sikh organization appealed all the opposition parties to unitedly support the farmers and give their role unanimously in the parliament and force the government to roll back the bills which are anti farmers and anti peoples. Farming in homes have already been declining steadily due to India's long standing agrarian crisis.
