| Deputy Mayor holds meetings of different engineering divisions of JMC | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 28: Advocate Purnima Sharma Deputy Mayor JMC conducted meeting of different engineering division of JMC during which the Executive Engineers of Division I, II, III and IV along with Asst. Executive Engineers and Junior Engineers were present.
During the meeting, issues regarding the ward offices and ward coolers of all wards within the JMC limit were discussed. Also Adv. Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor put forward the issue of pending water connections and electric connections in various CT/PT units. Discussion was also made regarding the issue of non-availability of land and disputed lands for ward offices in many wards. Also, It was noted that maximum water connections were pending. Hon'ble Deputy Mayor also discussed regarding the previous pending and allotted works and the works which have been done by the contractors but are of poor quality.
She also directed the concerned Executive Engineers to provide the report of the estimates of Ward offices of all the wards within the next 15 days. The furniture and the design of all the Ward offices should be the identical in all the respective wards.
She instructed all the Asst. Executive Engineers and Junior Engineers to take daily feed back of the ongoing work from the concerned contractors and report back to the concerned Corporator so that necessary instructions may be given to the contractors to get the work done in time with proper quality.
At the end, Deputy Mayor JMC praised all the engineer of JMC for their work since 2018 and further encouraged them to work in co-operation along with Corporators for the development of Jammu as a whole. |
