REAS8, July 28: A periodical inspection of Sub-Jail, Reasi was conducted by members of Jail Inspection Committee (JIC) to take stock of facilities and living conditions of the inmates.
Comprising Principal District & Sessions Judge, Reasi (Chairman, DLSA, Reasi); District Magistrate, Reasi; Sr. Superintendent of Police, Reasi and Chief Medical Officer, Reasi, the Committee Members visited each and every barrack of the Jail, interacted with the Jail Inmates and enquired about the facilities being provided to them by the Jail Authorities.
The Committee members also inspected the kitchen room, food storage room, medical room, legal aid clinic, e-mulaquat room in presence of the jail Superintendent and Secretary, District Legal Services Authority.
The Jail Inmates expressed satisfaction with the facilities extended by the Jail Authorities to them. |
