| Youth centric issues highlighted at this week's hearing | | DC motivates callers to become part of Youth Clubs | | Early Times Report
REASI, July 28: Youth centric issues were highlighted at this week's online hearing- Reasi Beeps-Beat the Pandemic held under the theme 'Youth Aspirations and Thoughts for Good Governance'
Deputy Commissioner, Charanjeet Singh motivated the youth to become part of Youth Clubs being constituted under the Mission Youth launched to channelize the energy of youth in the right direction. He said productive engagement of youth at the Panchayat level will help in real development of their areas.
The DC further said that such Youth clubs will provide basic training to youngsters in various fields like Disaster Management, Crisis Management, Conservation programmes, Mass awareness programmes and other important government schemes and initiatives. The youth so trained shall become an asset for the society.
During the one and a half hour session, youth from different areas of the district highlighted issue of their areas related to road, electricity, water etc, besides discussed the local potential and aspired to become the part of the development process.
The DC directed the concerned authorities to encourage the youth of Reasi to avail the benefits of various schemes meant for them so that they can overcome all adversities in their life and develop a positive and healthy environment in the society. |
