GDC Bhaderwah organizes national webinar

BHADERWAH, July 28: NSS, NCC and Internal Quality Assurance Cell GDC Bhaderwah in collaboration with National Stock Exchange, Mumbai organised a National Webinar on "Money Management and Career Opportunities Post Covid Scenario" under the aegis of Principal Dr. Kuldeep Kumar Sharma.
The Invited keynote speaker and the Resource person for the webinar was Suhas Rajput, an Empaneled Trainer, BSE, who in his presentation explained in detail and comprehensive manner about the financial planning and basic elements relating to Savings and Investments, Money, Capital and Derivative Markets, Traditional Vs Market Investments, Portfolio Management, Risks and Returns, Mutual Fund Routes, Investor Protection Mechanism and Grievances Redressal. He drew attention of the investors on different guiding principles for investment in the market and at the same time remaining vigilant. Preferable he advised to adopt the mutual fund route for the beginners. He also explained different facilities as e-locker, SMS alerts and other online services provided by the depository participants (DPs).
Presenting the welcome address Dr. Kuldeep Kumar Sharma, Principal of the College and Patron for Webinar appreciated the knowledge sharing by the by Resource Person and he underscored the need to organize such events to educate and aware the learners and the youngsters. He thanked the experts and the guests, congratulated the organizing committee of the college. He appreciated the efforts of the IQAC for working on improving quality parameters. Dr Sharma expressed his satisfaction and happiness on successful conclusion of the event.
The proceedings of the Programme were conducted by Prof Surinder Parihar, HOD Economics and Convener, IQAC GDC Bhaderwah. The event ended with a vote of thanks by Prof Prithvi Raj, HoD, Commerce and ANO NCC. Large number of college students including NSS, NCC cadets and scholars from different institutes attended the event. Prominent present on the occasion were Prof Davinder Kumar, Prof Mansa Ram, Dr Sandeep Kotwal, Prof. Arjun Kotwal, Prof. B.P.Chohan, Prof. Shamim Akhter, Prof Vijay Kumar, Prof Manzoor Ahmed, Dr Irshad Ahmed among the other faculty members of the college.
