Vasundhra from Sunderbani tops in CBSE class 12th; makes Rajouri district proud | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Aug 1: The Central Board of Secondary school Education (CBSE) declared the results for class 12th in which a girl from the border area Sunderbani of Rajouri district has topped by securing 97 percent marks in medical stream. Vasundhra has set an example for others with her remarkable feat and has proved that girls are nowhere less than the boys in any field. She is a student of SGGJD Model Academy Sunderbani and her subjects were Physics, Chemistry, English, Physical Education and Fine Arts. Daughter of Dr. Govind Sharma, Vasundhra along with Rajouri has made Jammu division proud. This time, the Coronavirus has made the students wait for the result and the wait of hundreds of students for the CBSE results has ended when at last the CBSE declared its results for the class 12th on Friday in which Vasundhara of border area Sunderbani of Rajouri district got 582 marks out of 600 and along with her parents, made the whole district proud.Talking to the media persons, her mother Dr. Meena told that Vasundhara worked hard day and night in the time of Coronavirus and this is the result of her dedicated efforts. Vasundhra says, “ I give the credit for my success to my parents and God. There was never any pressure from their side and they stood with me like a rock throughout my preparations and I am obviously very excited and turning out to be one of the toppers came to me as a surprise.”I think one needs to prioritise his or her goals. In school, my only goal was to excel in academics and for that I worked and tried my best to achieve this feat”, says Vasundhara.Vasundhra wants to crack UPSC and become a civil servant in future.The girls students like Vasundhara have proved that girls have immense potential in them and the need of an hour is to just provide them the right opportunity to show their calibre.
