| Vice chairman, DDC reviews performance of RDD schemes | | |

Reasi, Aug 1: Vice Chairperson, District Development Council, Reasi Adv. Sajra Qadir took a review meeting online of every Panchayat of block Gulabgarh in which the concerned VLWs/GRSs were exhorted upon to pace up the progress. She directed the concerned officials to improve and upgrade the parameters within stipulated timeframe as she reviewed the functioning of various schemes at the Panchayat level. At the outset, the she sought the details regarding execution of works under MGNREGA, PMAY-G and other Schemes including Geo tagging of assets, Aadhar seeding of job card holders besides status of timely payment of wages. BDO Gulabgarh Siddharth Dubey briefed the chair through a presentation regarding functioning of the department, besides physical and financial achievements made under different schemes of RDD. BDO informed the meeting about works under progress in various other schemes. She took Panchayat wise review of MGNREGA, PMAY and other schemes. A detailed status report was presented by the Block Development Officer (BDO) in one to one discussion. She also reviewed Panchayat wise performance made under the schemes and directed for timely completion of works keeping in view the challenges during rainy season & seasonal migration of workers to higher reaches (Doks) where carrying out development works are most challenging. She guided the concerned to work with a pro-active and people friendly approach. Reviewing the PMAY houses being constructed in the block, the concerned were asked to ensure timely payment of instalments to the beneficiaries under the scheme. |
