| Sainik Welfare Department holds seminar on PMEGP | | |

JAMMU, Aug 2: Zila Sainik Welfare Office Jammu today organized a Seminar cum meeting of Ex-Servicemen with Officials of Khadi and Village Industry Board Jammu and State Bank of India to spread awareness amongst Ex-Servicemen and Veer Naris about the the Pradhan Mantri Employment Generation programme (PMEGP).
Sanjeev Mahajan, AGM Financial Inclusion, SBI, A.O, Jammu with Chief Manager Saniya Raina, Deputy CEO KVIB, Tilak Raj, gave details of the Schemes and facilities of loan and subsidy. The queries of the participants were also answered during the Question & Answer Session. The strength of Ex-Servicemen was restricted due to Covid protocols.
Col BS Sambyal, Zila Sainik Welfare Officer, Jammu also addressed the participants and encouraged them to avail of this golden opportunity being promoted by the Govt. He highlighted that the participation in the seminar was restricted due to Covid protocols but more such seminars are scheduled so that more Ex-Servicemen can avail the opportunity. |
