GGM Science college organizes webinar

JAMMU, Aug 2: Career Counselling and Placement Cell of GGM Science College, Jammu in collaboration with NECS (Nayanshree Educational and Cultural Society) under the patronage of worthy Principal, Dr Ravender Kumar Tickoo has organized a webinar.
The theme of the webinar pertains to the placement of students in different corporations such as FCI, ONGC, Airport Authority of India , Canara Bank, PSU sector etc.
The webinar started at 03.00 p.m. Dr Devinder Kumar Sharma, Convener Career Counselling and Placement Cell initiated the proceedings. He offered Warm Welcome to Dr. Ravender Kumar Tickoo, Principal GGM Sc. College, and Gopal Sharma, Regional coordinator N-ECS, organizing team and all the participants.
After the welcome address, he requested Principal Sir to address the students. The Principal in his address congratulate the organizing team and appreciated the endeavour made by them regarding the Career initiative and potential building among students. He enlightens the students and the faculty with his words of wisdom.
The resource person Gopal Sharma informed the students about the mission of N-ECS which has approved Project from Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. He further stated that the organization impart one year free of cost training to students and after the due completion of training programme, a detailed project reports of the students then be submitted to various corporations and finally on the basis of this training project report, students will be absorbed in such corporations accordingly with 100 percent job assurance.
The webinar was attended by committee members namely Prof. Shrdha Anand, Dr. Neeraj Gupta, Dr. Bandhan Sharma, Prof. Sunita Kumari, Prof. Sahil Bangotra, Prof. Pinky Chandwal and Prof. Asha Sharmhal. Nearly 100 students were participated and benefitted from the same. Finally the webinar was concluded with the formal vote of thanks by Dr. Neeraj Gupta.
