| Various drives organized to mark Azzadi Ka Mahaustav | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 2: The Block Maira Mandrian of Youth Services and Sports at Higher Secondary School (HSS) Narari Bala Zone Akhnoor and Zone Jourian conducted the Azaadi ka Mahautsav.
Different events and organised Soil Conservation cum Plantation drive under the supervision of DYSSO Jammu. BDC Chairperson Tilak Raj, Devinder Singh Chib and Dr. Ashwani Bali among others of Zone Jourian were also present in the programme. ZPEO Akhnoor Tarsem Singh and ZPEO Jourian highlighted the importance of Soil conservation and planation drive as well as cycling participation as a need of hour and cyclists were flagged off by DYSSO Jammu in presence of ZPEO and other field staff members .
At the next Block Mathwar, Zone Bhalwal also conducted the events in which DDC member flagged off the cycling participants at Jandial Stadium (Bhalwal). All the participants were appreciated by Sh. Sukhdev Raj Sharma, DYSSO Jammu for participating in such important events. Winners and Runners up were also appreciated by the organising committee members. All the fieldstaff and Ministerial staff were present during said programmes. |
