AKHNOOR, Aug 3: Temporary Employees of Jal Shakti Department had demanded regularization of their services.
A meeting of temporary PHE employees of All J&K was held at Akhnoor today which was presided over by Pradeep Sharma, Chairman, Division Akhnoor.
In this meeting, he appealed to the temporary employees of every department and all the different organizations that all the people should try to come on one platform so that the government should take our issues seriously and should pay attention to regularise all of us soon.
Pradeep Sharma warned UT government to regularize all temporary employees otherwise they will have to protest on the streets. Sharma said that two years ago, after the removal of Article 370 from the state, there was a hope among the temporary employees that perhaps we would be made permanent in the Union Territory, but we were disappointed, some people would have served this department. Some have gone from this world and some are victims of starvation, their children are also longing for bread.
Pradeep Sharma has strongly demanded from the government that everyone should be made permanent at the earliest so that we all can live a life of peace.
The others who participated in this meeting were Bal Krishna, Sat Pal, Wopinder Singh, Raj Kumar, Balwant Singh, Kasturi Lal, Rajendra Singh, Sonu Singh, Daljit Singh, Rajinder Verma, Subhash Chandra, Rakesh Sharma, Pawan Kumar, Puran Chand and Arjun Choudhary etc.
