Public cooperation must for development works: Baru

JAMMU, Aug 3: Senior BJP leader and JMC Councilor Sanjay Kumar Baru during the tour of Anand Nagar inspected ongoing development works and listened the problems faced by the residents of the area, and adjoining areas along with BJP Booth President Jangjeet Singh, PWD and JMC officials
After listening to the problems patiently while addressing the gathering Sanjay Kumar Baru said that Cooperation of People especially of senior citizens is must for the gross root development. He said under the dynamic leadership of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi and LG Manoj Sinha developmental works are in full swing in our Jammu Kashmir (UT) both at Panchayat and Urban Local Bodies levels.
Baru further said that Anand Nagar and Hazuribagh have severe drainage problems because of the low lying Areas but now thanks to the allotment of Rs 4.5 crores project under AMRUT savings Construction work of deep drain from Bohri Chowk to Santra Morh nallah through HazuriBagh will give some relief to the residents of these areas.
During this tour, Baru asked PWD officials to prepare the estimates of Black Topping of damaged roads and construction of drains alongside new lanes of Anand Nagar (Ext.) and submit it at the earliest.
Residents appreciate the active and development approach of the Local CouncillorKuldeep Singh, Ashwani Bhat, Joginder Singh, Indeerjeet Kour, Purbi, Taro Devi, Surinder Sharma and local citizens were present on the occasion.
