| JMC drivers & cleaners union to hold elections on Aug 10 | | |

Jammu, Aug 3: In an emergency meeting of Jammu Municipal Corporation Drivers and Cleaners Union which was held under the President- ship of its chairman, S Attar Singh at Manda near here today.
During the meeting it was decided to hold the elections of the union besides threadbare deliberations of other important issues pertaining to drivers and cleaners of the Corporation.
The election date has been fixed August 10,2021 from 10 AM to 3 PM at the Townhall Jammu.
The date of submission of nomination forms is August 6,2021 and withdrawal of the same will be on August 7, 2021 from 10 AM to 1 PM at Townhall Jammu.
The meeting further stated the contestants can not take part in any other election activity and has to abide with the rules and regulations otherwise they will be disqualified. The permanent drivers,cleaners,contractual,incharge and skilled drivers only are able to vote in the elections, they added. |
