| 2 killed, one injured in accident inside Chenani-Nashri tunnel | | |

JAMMU, Aug 9: Two persons were killed and one seriously injured when a car they were travelling in collided head on with a truck inside Chenani-Nashri Tunnel in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.
"Two persons were killed and one suffered injuries when their Jammu-bound car collided head on with a Srinagar bound truck inside the Chenani-Nashri tunnel," police here said.
They said that the truck driver tried to flee but caught.
The deceased were identified as Gulam Mohammad Ganai and Gulzar Lone of Khansahib, District Budgam.
Injured person namely Showket Ahmad Bhat of Kheer Bhawani, Ganderbal has been hospitalised. |
