AHD Bhaderwah hosts awareness prog to mark Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav | | | Early Times Report DODA, Aug 9: As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, an awareness programme was today organized here in the premises of Livestock Development Office Bhaderwah. Thorough deliberations were held about building a new Atma Nirbhar Bharat by 2022, of which Animal Resource Development with modern technology is an integral part and the best tool to develop the rural economy. The officers and officials of Livestock Development Office Bhaderwah emphasized on the importance of such events and vowed to work with discipline, honesty and dedication. The field staff was asked to chart out a plan for the third phase of the centrally sponsored National Artificial Insemination Programme (NAIP) to achieve the set target. The main attraction of the event was the chanting of the National Anthem with Zeal. Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Doda also directed to ensure 100% target achievement in terms of livestock Insurance under National Livestock Mission (NLM). He directed Livestock Development Officer Bhaderwah to aware masses with regard to the Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) and about the bad effect of the cruelty against animals. Further, stress was laid on the utility of MAITRIS and other Private practitioners for meeting the staff deficiency in rural areas and creating job opportunities for them to earn their livelihood in a new India with all its traditional, modern and global outlook. Focus on Swachhata of the Animal Husbandry Complex of Bhaderwah and all other allied dispensaries of jurisdiction was also stressed upon. Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Doda Dr. Sanjay Kumar Sen along with Poultry Development Officer Doda Dr. Akhter Gundna led the event. All the Officers and other staff were directed to be disciplined while celebrating such events . They were also directed to involve PRIs of their respective jurisdictions.
