| DIC Rajouri organises drawing competition, awareness workshops on CAB | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Aug 9: As a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the District Information Centre Rajouri today organised a drawing competition here at Higher Secondary School Bajabain.
As many as twenty students below the age of eighteen years participated in the competition. The participants portrayed their perceptions beautifully. Sarpanch, Panches and a Jury were also there to adjudge the performance of the competing students. The theme of the drawing was India's Freedom Fighters.
The students, who stood first, second and third in the event were awarded prizes by the Sarpanch Middle Kangri who was the chief guest on the occasion.
The Sarpanch appreciated the students for their performance in the competition and urged upon them to keep performing with the same zeal.
The programme was well coordinated and managed by social worker Vinod Raina Saathi.
Meanwhile, two awareness workshops on Covid Appropriate Behaviour were organised by the District Information Centre, in collaboration with the Health Block Kandi, in Community Health Centre Kandi and Government Degree College Budhal.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief Guest, ADC Kotranka, Surinder Mohan Sharma said adherence to COVID Appropriate Behaviour was the only tool to break the chain of transmission and avert the 3rd way of Covid-19.
The Resource persons from the Health Department shared the information about CAB and Vaccine hesitancy in the area. They assured the people that the vaccine is safe and people' should not believe in rumours.
The programmes were organised under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh Kumar Shavan and under the supervision of BMO Kandi, Dr Iqbal Malik.
Among the others Tehildar Syed Sail, SHO concerned, Doctors, Health Officials and prominent persons were present in the twin programs. |
