| Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav: Inter-Zonal Kabaddi Tournament begins at Kishtwar | | |

KISHTWAR, Aug 9: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Ashok Sharma, who was the chief guest, today kicked off the Inter-Zonal Kabaddi Tournament organized by Sports Department under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav here at Government Girls Higher Secondary School.
The event witnessed participation of 69 players drawn from 5 zones of district Kishtwar namely Inderwal, Nagseni, Drabshalla, Kishtwar and Padder.
The inaugural function started with the welcome to the Chief Guest by District Youth Services and Sports Officer Kharati Lal Sharma along with the sports fraternity and the students, who were holding sign boards of their zones.
Chief guest along with the Principal GHSS (Girls) Suneeta Devi interacted with the students and advised them to maintain discipline, social distancing & follow all SOPs.
The inaugural match was won by zone Drabshalla by defeating Zone Nagseni by 8 points. |
