| J&K SC, ST & BCDC organizes awareness camp at Sangwali | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SAMBA, Aug 9: In continuation to the initiative of the Government to commemorate 75 years of Indian independence, J&K SC, ST & BC Development Corporation (BCDC) has decided to conduct awareness camps/programmes in different areas of UT.
Accordingly J&K SC, ST & BCDC conducted one Day Awareness Camp, at Sangwali Tehsil Ghagwal, District Samba today in collaboration with National Scheduled Castes Finance & Development Corporation (NSFDC), an undertaking of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India. In the Programme schemes of NSFDC and the scheme being run by this Corporations were highlighted and people particularly the unemployed youth of target were requested to avail maximum benefits of the schemes of the Corporation, to establish self employment ventures/units and live with dignity and pride.
On the occasion the officers of the Corporation including GQ Khatana, General Manager, Mohammad Iqbal Kataria, Deputy General Manager (Projects) and Sat Paul, District Manager Samba, gave detailed information/awareness about the schemes of Corporation.
The other persons including Tarseem Singh, Sarpanches and Karnail Chand Naib Sarpanch of Sangwali also spoke on the occasion
