GDC Ramgarh organizes activities to mark 75 years of independence

JAMMU, Aug 9: Psychological, Career Counseling and Placement Cell of Government Degree College Ramgarh is celebrating 75 years of India's Independence under 'Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav'. A series of activities from 09-08-2021 to 15-08-2021 are being organized under the guidance of Dr. Meeru Abrol, Principal of the College.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Meeru Abrol announced that these events are open to the students of J&K UT. She emphasized that the main motive of organizing these events is to make the students aware of history, freedom struggle and rich, vibrant, diverse culture of India. It will also provide an opportunity to interact with each other.
On the first day i.e. 09-08-2021, a Quiz Competition on Independence was organized by Prof. Seema Sharma in which around 30 students from various colleges participated with zeal and enthusiasm. Akshita Pangotra, GDC Kathua and Shikha Sharma, GDC Ramgarh stood first; Preeti Sharma, Riya Rani, Shalu Devi clinched the second Prize; Rajni Pangotra and Anuj Pangotra grabbed the third position.
E-Certificates were distributed among the participants on the occasion.
