| 2 die, six injured in road accident | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Aug 9: Two persons including a woman died and six others were injured in a tragic road accident occurred at Rajbagh near Delhi Public School, on Monday.
According to police sources, car bearing registration number JK02 BG 1229 heading towards Sanjhi Morh side collided with a Scorpio bearing number JK02 BM 6060, coming from opposite side near DPS Rajbagh.
As result, eight persons were injured in the incident.
Receiving the message, Rajbagh Police Station rushed the police team to the incidence spot, and lifted the injured to District Hospital, where the doctors’ declared two as brought dead. The deceased were identified as Kamlesh Devi (75 year) W/o Prakash Chand and Darshan Singh (45 year) S/o Prakash Chand, both residents of Seer R S Pura.
Police have initiated the proceedings in the case after taking the vehicles in custody.
