8/10/2021 12:26:50 AM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Aug 9: Masks and sanitizers distribution drive was organized by NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) Seva Foundation in KC Chowk and Parade Vegetable Mandi, Jammu. The aim of the drive was to raise awareness about the usage of masks and sanitizers these days when the third wave might hit us anytime. The masks and sanitizers Distribution Drive was coordinated by Nitish Gupta (Secretary, Seva Foundation) and Mr. Suraj Koul (Joint Secretary & PRO, Seva Foundation) along with the other members of NGO. Vegetable and fruit sellers and side vendors were the major beneficiaries of this drive as they are in daily contact with the rest of the population and thus can initiate a chain if not taken care of. Pankul Abrol and Mr. Rohan Sharma (Advisory Board Members) interacted with the local vendors in local Dogri language to create maximum awareness among these sellers as the cases are rising again in other states. Mr. Pankul made an appeal to all the sellers to make proper use of masks while selling their items. He asked the sellers to use Sanitizers and wash hands at regular intervals so as to reduce the chances of spread of CoronaVirus.
