| Security forces launch CASO in Sopore | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Aug 9: Security forces on Monday launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in apple township of Sopore in this north Kashmir district.
Officials sources said that on a specific information about the presence of militants, troops o Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police, CRPF and Rashtriya Rifles (RR) launched a joint CASO at old town Sopore.
All exit points were sealed and roads leading to CASO area closed.
Later, security forces launched house-to-house searches, they said adding so far no contact was established with the militants. |
