| Councillor kick starts construction work | | |

Jammu, Aug 10: Councillor Dr. Youdhvir Singh today kick started the construction work of wall at Landoi Nalha near Ranibagh bridge so as to save the dweller from recurring loss due to floods.
This work when complete will give solace to the public of area those live nearby the Landoi Nalha. It was long pending demand of the people who have suffered year after year due to the ferocious flooding in Nalha during Monsoon. S. Iqbal Singh Vicky narrated the woes when his nephew suffered heavily due damage in tile godown with flood water.
Prof (Dr) Youdhvir Singh expressed his concern for the public of area and also said that he is happy that with his efforts, he could bring glee on the faces of people. He further promised the people to take up various long pending development works after touring the Ajit Nagar lanes.
However, he lamented slow pace of development due paucity of funds. Prominent among those present on the occasion were S.Gurdev Singh, S.Iqbal Singh Vicky, Pars Ram, S.Charanjit Singh, Retd.SDM, S.Rasbir Singh, S.Joginder Singh, S.Manjot Singh, Satish Kumar work Suervisor and S.Parveen Singh contractor.
