Early Times Report KISHTWAR, Aug 10: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar, Ashok Sharma today chaired a meeting to finalize the arrangements for the Independence Day- 2021 celebration here at Conference Hall of New DC Office Complex. The meeting reviewed security arrangements, traffic regulation plan , security passes, seating arrangements, decoration, illumination of offices, Power and water supply, sanitation of town area and the venue(s), Medicare facilities, cultural activities. The meeting was informed that the main function would be held in the premises of New DC Office Complex, where the chief guest would unfurl the National Flag, followed by inspection of the parade. It was decided that march-past will be presented by contingents of J&K Police, Armed, CRPF, CISF, Forest Protection Force, while NCC besides taking part in the march past shall make band arrangement as per the past practice. A colorful cultural programme will also be presented on the occasion. Among others the meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning Mohammad Iqbal; ASP Rajinder Singh; ACR Akhter Hussain Qazi, besides officers from Police, Army, CRPF, CISF and concerned district officers. |
