| GD Ukhral organizes online essay competition | | | Early Times Report
UKHRAL, Aug 10: As a part of series of events to celebrate India's 75th year of Independence, A creative online Essay writing competition was held by GDC Ukhral on August 10,2021 to celebrate the contribution of Urdu poetry.
The theme of the Essay writing was "Patriotism in Urdu Poetry". The participants explored their creative skills, expressive potential and imaginative powers to present the given topic. The programme was held to commemorate the India's 75th Independence Day under the banner "Azadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav". The Principal of the College Dr. Ranvijay Singh appreciated the students for their profound interest and participation in the patriotic programme. Students from all the semesters enthusiastically participated. The event was celebrated with great zeal and fanaticism. The essays were judged on the criteria of creativity, structure, adherence to the topic and grammar skills.
The competition was conducted and judged by Dr Shafiq Ahmad Katoch. The first prize winner was Nirjalla Devi, the Second prize winner were Mohd Yousuf and Ruqia Manzoor and the third prize winners were Nelofar Akhter and Sabiha Bano.
