GDC Poonch organizes cleanliness drive

POONCH, Aug 12: NSS and NCC unit organised a Cleanness drive in the Govt. GDC Poonch and local market Poonch under the agies of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahostav under the overall Supervision of Prof. Mussaraf Hussain Shah, Principal GDC Poonch.
Prof. Fateh Mohammed Abassi, Prof Nusrat Koser and Prof. Yougesh Kumar NSS and NCC officers led the group to carry out the cleanliness drive within the campus and in the local market Poonch. The covid protocol and covid behavior were strictly adopted during the drive. The students carried out brooms, dustbins, wipers and other necessary equipments required for cleanness drive.
The students and the teachers awared the people about the covid protocol and values of cleanness to make India neat and clean to celebrate the 75th year of Indian independence. The teaching and non teaching staff members who participated in the event include Prof. Rayaz Mirza, Prof. Mahroof Ahmed, Prof. Tehseen Abas, Prof. Zakir Kalis, Prof. Mohammed Basharat, Prof. Loveleen Kour, Prof. Shaista Parveen, Dr. Tariq Sheikh, Pankaj Kumar Maini, Oma Shankar , Ranjeet Singh Mantu and others participated in the event.
