JAMMU, Aug 12: The Department of Youth Services and Sports, Zone Jourian today organized a volleyball tournament at Govt. High School Dhok Khalsa under the chairmanship of Zonal Physical Education Officer Jourian Vijay Kumar.
The tournament was organized on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Anshul Garg, SDM Akhnoor, Chand Kishore Sharma wherein Sarpanch Dhok Khalsa Ramo Devi was the chief guest, whereas Kali Dass Social Activist was Guest of Honour who declared open the tournament in the presence of Incharge Headmaster of the host School, Nirmal Kumari.
The match was played between Team A (Panchayat Dhok Khalsa) and Team B (Panchayat Dhok Khalsa). In this match Team A beat Team B by 2-1 sets with set scores 25-23, 25-22, 23-25.
The matches were officiated by Sh. Des Raj (PEM), Ashwani Kumar (PET), Jatinder Singh (ReK), Sh. Arvind Kumar (ReK), Sandeep Singh Danoo (ReK).
Vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Ashwani Bali (Joint Organizing Secretary).
Gittan Ram (Panch Dhok Khalsa), Subash Chander (Panch), Bhari Ram (Panch), Swarn Dass (Panch), Umakant (PEM), Chander Veer (PEM), Rajesh Kumar (PET), Sham Lal (PET), Devinder Singh Chib (PET), Dr. Dileshwar Singh (ReK) were present during the tournament. |
