Ex legislator starts construction works

JAMMU, Aug 16: Former Minister and Ex MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) along with Corporator Ward 26 Hardeep Singh Mankotia started works for construction and covering of drains at Subash Nagar. Sharma was also accompanied by Mandal President Raveesh Mengi, Corporator Ward 37 Sunita Gupta, officials of JMC (Jammu Municipal Corporation) local residents and political activists of the area.
The works will be done at an estimated cost of Rupees 32 lakhs and the funds were allotted to the local Corporator for the works. Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that proper sanitation is the dire need in today's time and keeping in view the sentiments of the masses, the works had to be taken up so that a hygienic atmosphere could be provided to the inhabitants at their door steps. He said such types of works are being taken up in other areas of Jammu West Assembly segment as well where there is a need and it will also be seen that such works are done in a stipulated time frame. Purshottam Khajuria, Jatin Gupta, Sudesh Sharma, Rohit Gupta, Ajju Chib and several others were present.
