Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 16: BVP team led by Ashok Khajuria accompanied by Er. Gopal Sharma, Regional Secretary(N) cum Technical convenor, Narinder Mishra, Prantiya General Secretary, Bharat Bhushan, Prantiya Finance Secretary, Jagdish Sharma, Reasi Distt Coordinator, Rajesh Baru, President Shiv Khori branch today had extensive tour of Village Kotla which is being developed as Model Village by BVP funded by Jindal Foundation Trust, Canada under Smagra Gram Vikas Yogya. BVP Team after paying obeisance of Lord Shiva at Shiv Khori Shrine, a meeting was held with branch members and view points were taken regarding developmental works in village which were halted due to Covid. All the members gave their suggestions and Rajesh Baru in consultation with Karan Singh, member of village core committee enlisted some works needed to be executed taking into consideration practical difficulties of inhabitants of Village. Later on tour of Bhim Goda, historic water body and village including the already executed works was made. Various activities of BVP in the branch and prant were discussed and fresh guidelines were also given especially various programs under Sanskars viz Guru Vandan Chhatra Abhinandan, NGSC, Bharat ko Jano etc and convenors for implementation of project were also appointed. The team gave formal nod to construction of Cattle ghat, washing Ghat near Bhim Goda, construction of water storage tank, combined Rain water harvesting system for 5-6 houses, development of Shamshan ghat etc which will be finalised after preparation of estimates subjected to availability of funds for the scheme. All the members of Prantiya team spoke on this occasion and gave valuable titbits for smooth functioning of the Shiv khori branch. |
