| GCOE organizes online poster making competition | | | JAMMU, Aug 21: An online poster-making competition on the recent advances in the field of science was organized by the Bio-Science club of Government College Of Education (GCOE) Jammu today. Speaking on the occasion, the Principal of the college, Dr Kulwinder Kaur stressed on the importance of organizing such events which help the students to relate to the environment, local as well as global, and appreciate the issues at the interface of science, technology and society. The competition was adjudged by Dr Rajinder Kaur, Dr Deep Bangotra and Dr Anuradha Seth. Riya Sharma of B.Ed 2nd semester from GCOE was adjudged Ist. Priya Devi and Ritu Sharma of B.Ed semester 2 shared the 2nd position and Pushpa Basnet of B.Ed-M.Ed integrated semester 2 from School of Teacher Education bagged the third position.
Dr Jyoti Parihar, Convenor of the Bio-Science Club thanked the students for their active participation and also lauded the efforts of the organizing committee, Diksha Sharma, Saksham Maria and Sheetal Bhat for their efforts to organize a successful event.
