CRPF celebrates Raksha Bandhan as “Bharat Raksha Parv” | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 22: The CRPF along with its important duty of internal security and other duties has also been discharging its duty towards society from time to time. Accordingly, the festival of Rakshabandhan was celebrated with great pomp in Group Centre CRPF Campus, Jammu. In CRPF the holy festival of brother and sister was celebrated as “Bharat Raksha Parv”. Members of General Zorawar Singh Memorial Educational and Charitable Trust including Chairman Devinder Singh Kaluria, Trustee Diksha Kaluria, Riya Kaluria, Sushma Rani, Suhani Jamwal, Sona Jamwal, Rajesh Kachro and Gurpreet Singh also participateD on this occasion. Rakhi was tied on wrists of the officers and jawans of Group Centre CRPF, Jammu engaged in nation security by applying Tilak on their fore heads and wished for their safe keeping and long life. Just as sister on the occasion of Rakshabandhan festival apply Tilak of hope to their brothers and wish for their happiness and prosperity and trust on them for her safety, in the same way in “Bharat Raksha Parv” the members of the above trust express faith and trust on officers and jawans of Group Centre CRPF Jammu for maintaining law and order along with the security of general public so that India can move ahead on the path of progress. They also wished officers and jawans for their success to perform their dedicated duty towards nation. The programme was organized under the leadership of Rajendra Prasad, DIGP, of Group Centre CRPF Jammu. In the programme PC Gupta, Rajesh Kumar, Dy Comdt Sumit Verma Dy Comdt., other officers and jawans were also present. |
