JINDRAH, Aug 30: The NSS unit of Government Degree College (GDC) Jindrah celebrated Janmashtami festival with traditional fervor at Gaushala (cowshed), Jindrah.
The celebrations were observed under the supervision of Dr. Sunil Sharma, Program officer, NSS Unit of GDC Jindrah. The NSS volunteers cleaned the premises of Gaushala and fed cows with food grains, grass and other eatable items. Later on, the prayers were offered to the lord shri Krishna to seek blessings and peace across the country.
Prof. Rajshree Dhar, principal, GDC Jindrah applauded the efforts made by NSS Unit for keeping festivals alive among locals. The whole celebrations were recorded and compiled by Dr. Seema. The locals also participated in the Janmashtami celebrations with great fun and zeal. |
