Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 30: Punjabi Lekhak Sabha Jammu (PLSJ) has condoled the death of S. Ichhupal Singh, former Editor Sheeraza Punjabi and a renowned Punjabi writer of Jammu & Kashmir. He has contributed about forty books to the Punjabi literature in Jammu & Kashmir Dr. Monojit, President, PLS,J giving the details oabout his demise told that he died of low sugar. S. Ichhupal was born on 15th January, 1951 in the family of Sdn. Kushalya Kour and S. Harbans Singh at Rambagh (Mandir), Srinagar. He had qualified, MA in Punjabi and Urdu , and done L Lb. He was appointed as Research Assistant at J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages and later worked as Editor Sheeraza Punjabi there. He had got retired a few years back. He had been awarded with Best Translation Book Award by the Cultural Academy. S. Baljeet Singh Raina, General Secretary, S. Devinder Singh Vishavnagrik (both former Presidents of PLS, J), Jang S.
