Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 30: Sunrise Public School, an institute of education (A unit of sunrise educational trust) celebrated Janamashtami with school children in the community near army gate Channi Himmat Jammu. The function started at 11:00am hosted by A school teacher Asha Rani. Manpreet Kour, founder director of the school was the chief guest. Teacher Asha Rani explains the reason behind Janamashtami. She explain that on this day lord Krishna born in Mathura. Lord Vishnu incarnated as Krishna to save people from cruel king Kans. School children from class 3rd, 4th and 5th named Mohit Kumar, Uttra, Durga and Rani have prepared a beautiful song on lord Krishna which they presented before the chief guest. School teachers presented a Bhajan on lord krishna. Manpreet kour wished the children a happy Janamashtami to and to all present over there. At the end of the function biscuits and toffees were distributed among the children. Others who were present are Virender Kumar (coordinator) teachers -Shuvani Dutta, Sonali Wazir, pinki Kumari, Jyoti Bala, Asha Rani, Sakshi gupta, Sonu Sharma and Nisha Devi. |
