JAMMU, Aug 30: A scooty rider was killed when hit by a truck in Haria Chak area of Rajbagh in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.
In-charge Police Post, Haria Chak, Jarnail Singh, said that on Monday morning, one truck hit the scooty rider from behind near Border Road at Haria Chak.
The scooty rider (60), resident of Pathankot died on the spot.
Police said that the truck driver identified as Chaman Lal of Sanji Morh, Marheen, District Kathua was arrested and the truck was seized. |
