BJP leader hails new industrial web portal launch | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 1: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K Executive Member Raman Suri today said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has brought an end to red-tapism by putting everything needed to establish industry in Jammu and Kashmir on a web portal having even the minute of all details to facilitate investors. The decision, he added, will end unnecessary delays in regulations needed for taking decision and completing formalities in investing in Jammu and Kashmir post abrogation of Article 370. Earlier, formal rules and standards which were excessive, rigid and redundant didn't encourage investors to invest in J&K but the way new web portal has been designed, it will not only simplify the procedures but also encourage many industrial houses to expand their businesses in the Northern region. Raman Suri said that earlier, rules and bureaucratic procedures hindered the actions and stalled decision-making processes but with new policy, investors will have everything sorted from a single window. Raman Suri said that process has been so much simplified that even foreign investors can have access to required information for setting up their units or ventures in Jammu and Kashmir, which post-abrogation of Article 370, is on the path of development and this web portal is one of the biggest platforms that is expected to encourage investments to the tune of Rs 28,400 crore wherein 300 percent GST refund has been ensured for 10 years. The BJP leader said, with the establishment of thousands of industries in J&K, several ancillary units will also emerge and generate employment besides several areas will get development, making Jammu and Kashmir blink on the world map for many exclusive products. He said, days ahead are bright and are going to open up new vistas for our youth who have immense potential to make a mark in the world. |
