| Drug peddler nabbed with 20 gms of heroin like contraband | | |

Kathua, Sept 5: In continuation to its “War On Drugs” Kathua Police under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua R C Kotwal-JKPS had nabbed 01 drug peddler with 20 grams of heroin like contraband and arrested the person involved. According to reports on Sept 04 a police team led by I/C PP Industrial Estates Kathua Insp. Yash Paul Sharma under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Kathua Shammi Kumar -JKPS during naka /checking duty at Kharote Morh noticed one suspect. On thorough checking approx. 20 grams of Heroin like contraband was recovered from the possession of accused namely Siddiq S/o Ali Hussain R/o Chack Jangi Hiranagar District Kathua. Meanwhile all the recovered material seized and arrested the said person involved. In Police action a case vide FIR No. 399/2021 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at P/S Kathua and started further investigation into the case. |
