JAMMU, Sept 6: Keeping its art and culture activities going on even during the period of Covid-19 pandemic, Jammu and Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu has organized Painters’ Camp- cum-Live Demonstrations at Poonch, Rajouri and Sunderbani between 3rd to 5th September, 2021. The aim of organizing this camp is to make the young students aware about painting, and also to identify the youth of the areas, who have talent in the field of art. The experts invited for conducting the art camp- cum- demonstration programmes would give training to the students, along with making paintings, during these programmes. The experts participating in this event include Minu Dey (Kolkatta), K S Gill, Dharminder Sharma, Atul Mattu and Sahil Sodhi (from Amritsar, Punjab), Tariq Saifi (from Surankote) and O P Sharma (from Jammu). It may be mentioned that JKCCA has earlier too has been conducting art and culture activities at Rajouri and Sunder Bani, and other remote area in Jammu & Kashmir to promote and preserve art and culture in those areas. JKCCA has also successfully organized State, National, International level Art Exhibitions and art camps. |
