| Chess Championship organized at Samba | | |

JAMMU, Sept 9: Samba district chess association under the aegis of All J and K chess association under the banner of J&K sports council organized Samba district chess championship at Shishu Niketan higher secondary school samba with 56 players participating n the event.
Eight year old young Paras Sharma won the event in senior boys category while Mannat Sharma got second position and defending champion Atul Singh got 3rd place. In girls category Nindia vaid got 1st position while Sneha got second and Siya sambyal 3rd position. Rajeshwar Singh Sambyal, District president Panthers Party was the chief guest on the occasion. |
