Srinagar, Sept 9: A man was killed after falling from a walnut tree in south Kashmir district of Pulwama on Thursday afternoon, official sources said.
They said 45-year-old Ghulam Mohammad Wani, was picking up walnuts from a tree at Chokura in Pulwama when he suddenly slipped and fell down. However, he was immediately rushed to hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Police has registered a case and initiated proceedings, they said adding the body was handed over his family members for last rites. |
